Without wanting to advertise for travel guides, they are indispensable to find hotels with an acceptable value for money. The
Routard is (once will not hurt ...) very current, well informed and accurate enough price. The reason is that it is written by a French expatriate who travels the country throughout the year!
The Lonely Plane t (in English vocabulary learning or French translation if it is up to date) is also very good but the prices are very often wrong ... already in the edition released in 2006 with which we traveled.
In general, there is no problem for hotels and apart from the hotel we had chosen to Alexandria (out of spite because everything was full - remember to book at this time), all are commendable. For details, see the bottom of each page of the travel book!
